During the 2021 Annual General Meeting, members of the Bugiri District Farmers Association (BDFA) received a tractor in a handover ceremony attended by the Resident District Commissioner (RDC), the Local Council V (LCV) Chairman, and the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
The handover marked an important milestone in supporting farmers with mechanized agricultural equipment. Access to a tractor can help improve land preparation, reduce the workload faced by farmers, and increase efficiency, production, and productivity.
The initiative reflects BDFA’s commitment to promoting modern farming technologies and strengthening agricultural development for improved farmer livelihoods.
